What to include

The six elements of a valid DMCA notice

A complete notice gets handled the same business day. A partial notice gets a reply asking for what’s missing — so include everything below the first time.

  • Identification of the workA clear description of the copyrighted material you claim is being infringed — title, format, and where it lives officially if applicable.
  • The infringing URLThe exact Glaze Games URL where the material appears. One notice can cover multiple URLs, just list each one on its own line.
  • Your contact informationFull legal name, postal address, phone number, and an email we can reply to. Required so we can verify and respond.
  • Good-faith statementA statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rightsholder, their agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statementA statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the rightsholder’s behalf.
  • Your signaturePhysical or electronic signature of the rightsholder or their authorized agent. Typing your full name in the email counts.
The process

From notice to takedown in four steps

Every step is owned by a person on the team. There are no scripts deciding whether your content stays up.

  1. Send the notice

Email [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and the six elements listed above. PDFs and attachments are fine; plain email is faster.

  2. We confirm receipt

A real person replies within one business day to confirm the notice arrived and let you know what we still need, if anything.

  3. Review and action

Verified notices result in removal of the listed URLs within 48 hours. The submitter of the original content is notified of the takedown and their options.

  4. Counter-notice window

If the original submitter believes the takedown was a mistake, they have a window to file a counter-notice. We forward valid counter-notices to you.

Send notices to [email protected]

One inbox, monitored every business day. Use subject DMCA Notice for takedowns and DMCA Counter Notice for replies. We respond within 48 hours.

Send a DMCA notice

Counter notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with the subject line DMCA Counter Notice. Include the removed URL, your full contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification. We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant.

Repeat infringement

Glaze Games maintains a policy of removing content and restricting submitters that repeatedly provide infringing material. Accounts and partner relationships found to have a pattern of infringement are terminated.

Misuse of the process

Filing a DMCA notice that misrepresents the law is itself unlawful and may expose you to liability for damages and attorney’s fees. If you’re unsure whether a use is infringing, consult a qualified attorney before sending a notice.
