Rocket Bot Royale

Rocket Bot Royale is an online battle royale from the independent studio Winterpixel, played with small, wall-climbing robo-tanks instead of soldiers. Each match drops a group of players onto islands made of destructible terrain. You drive along the ground and up walls, fire rockets that arc under gravity, and use the blast to launch your own tank through the air. Shots tear holes in the island, so you can tunnel in for cover or knock the ground out from under someone else. Enemy bot tanks wander the map too, and they drop whatever loot they collected when destroyed.

The pressure comes from the sea: the water level keeps rising, so the islands shrink until only the high ground is left and the last tank alive wins. Loot and supply crates dropped from above add weapons, health and items such as shields and landmines, and the daily rotating modes change the rules, from zero gravity to rapid fire. The browser version shares matches with the Steam and mobile versions, with skill-based matchmaking, custom lobbies for playing with friends, global leaderboards and seasons, and unlockable tanks, trails and gliders.
