About Town of Salem

Town of Salem is a social deduction game where information is incomplete and every player has a role to protect. Town members need to collect consistent evidence, while the opposing factions win by creating confusion, manipulating votes, or surviving long enough to control the final count. A convincing claim is not enough on its own; timing, role interactions, night results, and voting behavior all need to fit together.

Keep a compact notes record from the first day. Compare each claim with what the role could actually do, check whether the night events support it, and watch who pushes a vote without a reason. Good play is less about sounding certain than asking precise questions and leaving the table with a smaller set of possible worlds.
