About Asteroid Belt

Asteroid Belt is a vector-style space shooter. Your ship floats in an open field of drifting rocks; rotate, thrust and fire to break every asteroid into smaller, faster fragments without colliding with any of them. The field wraps at the edges and momentum carries you, so the skill is in short bursts of thrust rather than holding the key. Rendered as crisp white vectors on black, it runs from our own servers with no pre-roll or third-party loader. Keyboard required. Open-source work by Doug McInnes, MIT licensed.

It blends arcade with shooter and classic for a mix that keeps each session fresh. Loading time and performance depend on the game, your device, and your connection.

A couple of things help once you get going: If movement and aiming are separate controls, practice combining them before a difficult encounter. Check how the game scores hits before choosing where to aim.
