About the game

About Binary Drop

Binary Drop turns learning binary into a falling-blocks puzzle. Every row is a line of lights worth 1, 2, 4, 8 and up. Lime rows show a number: tap the lights so they add up to it. Violet rows are already lit: add them up and type the number. From level 3 the rows fall like Tetris, and each level adds more lights and more speed. A gentle first level teaches everything by watching, then streaks, rising melodies and confetti keep you going. Learn decimal-to-binary conversion without noticing you are studying.

Expect arcade at its core, with a streak of puzzle and thinky woven through the design. Loading time and performance depend on the game, your device, and your connection.

If you want to do well, keep this in mind: Read the puzzle objective before making your first move. If the game offers undo, use it to compare another approach when you are stuck.

Tips and strategy

  • Read the puzzle objective before making your first move.
  • If the game offers undo, use it to compare another approach when you are stuck.
  • Compare the available choices and their consequences instead of assuming one solution fits every puzzle.
  • If the game has a hint button, save it for when you are genuinely blocked, not just slow.
