About Deepforge: Merge & Mine
Deepforge: Merge & Mine is a merge and physics mining game by Polar Games. You start at a workbench with a few copper picks. Buy more with coins, drop two picks of the same level onto each other to merge them, and arrange your best tools before choosing Dig. The picks then bounce through the mine on their own, striking blocks of rock, ore and crystal as they fall. The deeper you break through, the closer you get to the chamber core that ends the expedition.
The campaign has 30 chambers across six biomes, from a sunlit canyon through crystal caves, volcanic depths, frozen caverns and overgrown tunnels to ancient ruins, and there are 16 pickaxe levels to build toward. Elemental runes, adjustable deflectors that redirect your picks and a charged lightning boost you aim at one column add a little strategy to each dig. Recovered cores and crystals pay for permanent workshop upgrades, and the Abyss mode continues after the campaign. Progress saves in your browser.

How to play Deepforge: Merge & Mine
Merge pickaxes into stronger tools, send them bouncing into the rock, and dig down to each chamber's core.
- 1Press B (or tap Buy) to buy a pick, then drag it onto a matching pick to merge them.
- 2Arrange your tools on the workbench and keep spares in the reserve.
- 3Press Space (or tap Dig) to launch the expedition; the picks bounce and mine automatically.
- 4Press 1 to 5 (or tap Boost and a column) to push the picks toward the column that needs it.
Tips and strategy
- Merge before every dig; higher-level picks break tough blocks much faster.
- Save the boost for the column that leads straight to the core.
- Spend crystals on permanent workshop upgrades; they help every future chamber.
