About Nos Autres Vies
Nos Autres Vies ("Our Other Lives") is a gentle life simulation by an independent French studio, and the whole game is in French. You name your character and choose where life begins: from the very first day, or as an adult with a ready-made situation, such as a first job in Paris at 19, a change of direction in Lyon at 24, studies and a part-time job in Lille, or a fresh start in Marseille at 27.
Then you live month by month. Each month brings choices about study, work, money, friends and family, and the people around you follow their own paths. You can live one month, three months or a whole year at once, or skip to the next turning point. Years later you can look back on your memories, and you can keep several lives saved side by side. Under Options avancées you pick a tone: Douce & quotidienne for gentle everyday life, or Réaliste & sensible, which includes harder life events. Incomes and events are simulated, not predictions.
