About Little Ninja Dash

Little Ninja Dash is a slingshot-style action platformer by the independent studio Polar Games. Instead of running and jumping, you aim every move: press and hold, pull back like a slingshot, and release to send the little ninja flying in the opposite direction. Guards with spears and straw hats stand on ledges across each stage, and a dash that passes through them knocks them out. The opening tutorial teaches the two core moves in a few seconds, then the stages start asking for longer chains of dashes over gaps and around cliffs.

The second move is what makes it interesting: hold again while you are still in the air and you can aim a fresh dash from mid-flight. That lets you change direction around a wall, reach a ledge you would have overshot, or line up a second guard after the first. The game has 50 stages across five worlds, three stars to collect on each, and 10 ninja looks to unlock. Progress is saved in your browser, so there is no account to make. Players who prefer a gentler look can switch the slash effect from red to ink in Settings, and an Assist option makes launches easier.

How to play Little Ninja Dash

Pull back to aim, let go to dash, and slice through the guards on each stage before you run out of moves.

  1. 1Click (or touch) and hold anywhere on the screen.
  2. 2Drag back away from where you want to go; the arc shows the path of your dash.
  3. 3Let go to dash, passing through guards to knock them out.
  4. 4While still in the air, hold and pull back again to aim a new dash from mid-flight.

Tips and strategy

  • Short pulls give short, controllable dashes; you do not need full power for nearby guards.
  • Save the mid-air redirect for gaps and walls rather than using it on every jump.
  • Grab the stars on a second run once you know where the guards are.
  • Turn on Assist in Settings if launches feel too hard to aim.
