About Twirldrop

Twirldrop is a 3D tower-drop game by Polar Games. A ball bounces on its own on top of a tall tower of circular floors, and all you control is the tower: drag to spin it so a gap lines up under the ball and it drops to the floor below. Fall through three gaps in a row in a single fall and the ball arms a smash, breaking the next floor it touches, red spikes included.

Red spiked tiles are the danger; land on one without a smash armed and the ball breaks. Every other color is safe. The campaign has 30 towers, with the first ones teaching one idea at a time before the later ones raise the difficulty, and a single tap restarts after a miss. Descent is the endless mode: one run, as deep as you can go, with a leaderboard by day, week, month and all time.

How to play Twirldrop

Turn the tower so the bouncing ball drops through the gaps, smash floors with a three-gap streak, and avoid the red spikes.

  1. 1Drag left or right (or use the arrow keys or A and D) to turn the tower.
  2. 2Line up a gap under the bouncing ball so it falls to the next floor.
  3. 3Fall through three gaps in a row to arm a smash.
  4. 4Avoid landing on red spiked tiles unless a smash is armed.

Tips and strategy

  • Make small turns; spinning too far can land the ball on a red tile.
  • Look one floor ahead so you can chain gaps into a smash.
  • A smash breaks red tiles too, so use streaks to get past tricky floors.
