About Dune Dash
Dune Dash is a one-button momentum game. A ball rolls across endless dunes under a setting sun. Holding Space, the mouse button or a finger speeds it up; letting go lets it coast. Hold on the way down a slope, then let go so the next hill throws you into the air. There is no jump, no steering and no crouch, only speed and timing.
Your score is Air, shown at the top left. It only climbs while the whole ball is above the dashed dune line, and it climbs faster the higher you fly. A run ends in a Slam, a hard landing flat into the sand, or when you fly off the top of the screen. Your best run is kept as Peak at the top right and stays saved in your browser. There is a full-screen button on the game view.

How to play Dune Dash
Hold to speed a ball over endless sand dunes, let go to fly, and score only while you stay above the dune line.

- 2Hold Space, the mouse button or a finger to speed up through the first valley.
- 3Let go near the top of a hill so it launches you above the dune line.
- 4Hold briefly in the air to carry forward to the next downslope, then let go before you fall too fast.
- 5Land along the slope, not flat into it. Let go and press once to start a new run.
Tips and strategy
- Speed comes from the downhill side: hold on downslopes, release on upslopes.
- Holding too long at top speed sends you off the screen, so ease off when you are already high.
- A smooth landing on a downslope keeps your momentum for the next jump.
