The Lonesome Shooter

The Lonesome Shooter is a 3D action shooter with a dark revenge story. Jack is an aging cowboy on the Wyoming plains whose only son, Ethan, left the ranch to serve in the US Army. When an officer arrives with news that Ethan was killed in action, Jack starts to hear rumors that the official account is not the whole truth. With help from an old friend, he traces the story to the remote outpost where Ethan served and learns from reluctant soldiers that his son was sacrificed in a satanic ritual by his own comrades. Jack travels to that mission area to seek revenge. The premise gives the action a personal weight, since every fight is part of a father's search for what really happened to his son.

The game uses a familiar shooter layout: WASD to move, mouse to shoot, R to reload, number keys 1 to 5 to change weapon, E to pick up weapons, Shift to run, Space to jump and P to pause.
